Geothermal Energy
The need for Energy and consumption is increasing year after year throughout the world. This trend will continue in the years and decades to come. There is a consensus in our world about meeting the increasing demand through renewable and environment friendly energy resources. Renewable energy is replacing fossil based oil and coal.Plans for increasing the use of electric cars in Turkey and in the World will also increase power consumption.
Energy import bill of Turkey was over 43 billion dollars in 2018. Turkey will be able to reduce this bill by replacing some portion of its imports with renewable energy production. This action entails more efficient exploitation of renewable energy potential through further exploration and R&D work. Further progress in this field, will enable Turkey to reduce its energy bill thus contributing to redress the current account deficit.
